Description

The SAP Integration Developer will be responsible for operational support (KTLO) and developing Integration projects using SAP Process Orchestration platform.

This position is not eligible for International Relocation Program benefits.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: (functions considered essential as defined by ADA)

  • Provides 24x7 level 3 on-call support of production systems in support of technical processes and interfaces.
  • Understands, refines and complies with integration patterns, standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Implementing, configuring, enhancing and maintaining technical development and other aspects of SAP as well as the integration of other applications into the company’s SAP environment.
  • Coordinates with external SAP Hosting provider as needed.
  • Supports and maintains the related applications and infrastructure using best practices and continuous improvement methodologies as appropriate to the business.
  • Maintains current knowledge of industry trends and standards.
  • Builds and maintains a solid understanding of the application areas and the business areas they support.

Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their superior, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 6 years of on-the-job experience with specific experience in all of the following:  SAP development and integration; deep exposure to SAP modules, SQL/DB experience, proficiency in managing day to day operations using Process Orchestration tool. 

EDUCATION LEVEL:  

A minimum of a Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or Information Systems is required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Technology requirements may include, but not limited to, ABAP, Java, and XI technologies. Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication. Advanced reading and writing skills, with the ability to perform complex mathematical calculations.

Must have knowledge of:

  • Hands on experience working with business users and Solution Architects to gather integration requirements, develop and test PI/PO/HCI interfaces.
  • Experience in the configuration of adapters such as JMS, JBDC, SFTP, SOAP, IDOC, Proxy, FTPS, web services, and other Integration Builder objects.              
  • Experience with designing and implementing SAP PI/PO ABAP Proxies, Java mapping, and graphical mapping.
  • Knowledge of transport management and alert configuration, including the AIF.
  • Experience in integration with SAP modules and processes.
  • Must be self-motivated, responsible, conscientious, and detail-oriented.
  • Must have proven ability to set and follow priorities and timeline.
  • Working familiarity with web services including REST, SOAP, and API management.
  • Ability to develop repeatable development processes with supporting documentation.
  • Must have the ability to build lasting trusted partnerships across various functional areas and technical disciplines.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with SAP PI/PO 7.4 or higher.
  • Exposure to Messaging systems such as IBM Integration Bus/Broker, MQ, and DataPower.
  • Experience with SAP BPM design and modeling.
  • Experience integrating custom and package products across complex enterprise environments.
  • Working understanding of security standards including SAML, XACML, MASSL, OATH, WSTrust, OAUTH, OpenID Connect.
  • Knowledge of multiple operating systems including Linux, AIX, IBM I (iSeries) and Windows.
  • Experience with various programming/scripting languages (JAVA, Groovy, JavaScript).
  • Experience with enterprise Data Integration technologies including ETL, SQL, XSLT, XML.
  • Exposure to HCI and SAP Web hosted applications such as Success Factors or Ariba.

WORK CONDITIONS:

Office based with up to 20% travel by land and air required. Petroleum refinery, warehouse/plan environment including but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tanks, and rotating equipment. Subject to all weather and varying road conditions. Occasional long hours, as well as nights and weekends as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Job conditions require sitting, talking, hearing, making precise hand and finger movements, making visual inspections, reaching or grasping, lifting and/or carrying up to 5lbs, ability to operate and drive all assigned company vehicles at company standard insurance rates is essential, valid state driver’s license and proof of insurance required, perceiving color differences. Job conditions may require standing, walking, twisting, stooping, crouching, kneeling.
