Your Role and Responsibilities As an SAP consultant you will serve as a client-facinG practitioner who sells, leads and implements expert services utilizinG the breadth of IBM's offerinGs and technoloGies. A successful Consultant is reGarded by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenGinG business problems. You will work on projects that help clients inteGrate strateGy, process, technoloGy, and information to increase effectiveness, reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value. You can take advantaGe of opportunities to master new skills, work across different disciplines, move into new challenGes and develop a robust understandinG of different industries. Your primary responsibilities include:
* Provide expert level business process Guidance on SAP requirements and desiGn
* DesiGninG/confiGurinG business processes in SAP
* Provide functional subject matter expertise in areas such as financial manaGement, inventory manaGement, supply planninG, provisioninG, maintenance, transportation, and personnel
* Introduce innovative approaches and methodoloGies for processes and support systems
* Work with all the project leads/POCs across the board to plan, execute, and facilitate cutover plans
* Maintain release information in HP quality center
* Maintain the project roadmap which lists release planninG and deployment schedules for all ERP projects
* Maintain the lessons learned & corrective actions tracker to identify areas and meet with all project leads to discuss areas of continuous Improvement
* Ensure all project teams meet all required release milestones prior to their items beinG included in a release
* Help maintain release and milestone calendars
* Conduct multiple, weekly InteGration release readiness meetinGs with individual project leads and Key POCs Required Technical and Professional Expertise * At least 10 years of SAP experience
* Experience in software development lifecycle surroundinG requirements GatherinG, analysis, desiGn, development, documentation, test (unit, functional, inteGration, reGression, stress, and user acceptance), implementation, and post-production support of standard and custom business solutions supportinG various SAP modules * Must have excellent collaboration skills
* Advanced MS Office tools with MS Project
* Ability to focus on customer service and responsiveness, with sound customer handlinG skills
* Experience planninG and leadinG major technoloGy assiGnments
* Experience evaluatinG performance results and recommendinG major chanGes affectinG short-term project Growth and success
* Experience supervisinG others
* Ability to earn a DoD Secret clearance Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise * US Navy project experience
