TEAM OVERVIEW
Develop Integrated Demand Programs (IDPs) in support of the Marketing Plan growth priorities. These journeys are curated and optimized using digital signals across our first and third-party channels to engage and convert prospects and customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for an Operations and Communications Lead, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of the Integrated Demand Team within Corporate Marketing. This role will be a valued member of the Integrated Demand Team and partner across the IDT leadership team and work across the Corporate Marketing Leadership Team (LT) when necessary. This highly visible role requires someone with a strategic business mindset and a bias for action, who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and quickly partners successfully with a broad group of stakeholders, from leaders to individual contributors and support staff.
Key responsibilities include:
Business Process: Lead and coordinate RoB and improve processes to run the business efficiently. Establish the Rhythm of the Business for the team, and work with Finance and HR organizations to coordinate business processes.
Business Planning and Leadership: Partner with PSO, IDT LT and Ops organization to support the planning process ensuring coordination with corporate planning processes as well as planning integration across the broader org. Work with cross-division and cross-company/ team counterparts to manage team participation as needed for key business events, next fiscal year planning, running business reviews, and other strategic business planning activities.
Communications: Plan and execute SVP, IDT communications strategy and vehicles that support organizational strategic missions. Drive internal communications at major milestones. Plan and manage team meetings including All Hands, staff meetings and manager meetings. Manage the SVP's external communications for customer/partner engagements, speaking engagements to ensure successful and impactful use of SVP's time.
Financial Management: Partner with Ops and HR to lead budget planning and forecasting, hiring strategy, and resource management in alignment with the RoB. Manage the team's budget, headcount and spend in partnership with Ops BP and finance to ensure effective budget management. Ensure teams have a deep understanding of people/discretionary and non-people spend and drive to quarterly and FY financial targets/accountabilities. Lead fiscal planning process for the team in partnership with Finance.
Culture & People Programs: Work closely with HR and IDT leadership to identify, analyze and develop strategies to improve organizational health. Partner with HR to drive SAP #Unfiltered action planning. Orchestrate team trainings and brownbag/enablement series to contribute to ongoing development. Define, plan, and drive cross-team partnership with Recruiting to ensure our organization attracts the best and brightest candidates and any openings are filled quickly and meet organizational hiring objectives. Drives and ensures a positive onboarding, and ongoing training program for the organization.
Special Projects: Drive high-impact cross-team projects as needed to meet the changing business environment and ensure the team is achieving commitments. Successful project management, including work with strategy consultants and other external agencies, on strategic efforts that require hands-on experience across multiple functional disciplines and business organizations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Concentration in business, marketing, communications, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum 7 years marketing within B2B tech industry.
- Strong communication skills - written and oral; persuasive - as well as PM skills.
- Proven successful stakeholder management.
- Deep understanding of the marketing landscape and functional areas across the business.
- Change agility and adaptability.
- Knowledge of the technology industry along with a very strong business acumen, knowledge of enterprise software and cloud systems.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 97,000 - 213,800 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
