Description
Our client is currently seeking a SAP HANNA/ Data Modeler
This job will have the following responsibilities:
• Works directly with the developers, system architects, and users to review requirements and recommend solutions.
• Designs and implements best practices as it relates to database architecture.
• Manages physical ER diagrams for HANA databases.
• Provides trouble shooting and performance tuning.
• Provides off-hours support when required.
• Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
•Knowledge of building analytic data structures and models in SAP HANA from scratch and NOT thru SAP ERP tools is required
•Must have demonstrated experience designing and developing in SAP HANA database
•Must have strong proficiency in SQL, and ANSI SQL
•Must have strong proficiency in reading and creating ER diagrams
•Experience with conceptual, logical and physical modeling using modeling tools such as SAP Power Designer, Visio, ERWIN, or Embarcadero, etc is important
•Experience querying and loading data into HANA dimensional data models is required
•Minimum 6 years of working experience in transactional modeling and dimensional data warehouse model development with at least 4 years developing in HANA.
•Work with other IM data modelers and ETL developers to design data loads into HANA
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on the ability to clearly articulate and discuss technical issues with both technical and business personnel.
•Strong analytical skills, able to effectively solve problems in a timely manner
•Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Math or a related IT field or equivalent work experience in an IT field required
