*TEKsystems has a *client that is implementing SAP S/4HANA and needs to hire at least 2 Solution Data Analysts to assist with a project that will bring data together from both a legacy enterprise data warehouse and S/4, into a HANA Sidecar database. The ultimate goal is to run one report for each specific data set or function so all users (whether on SAP or not) can see the same accurate picture of data (i.e. data and reports could be: financial, available inventory, receivables, payables, etc.).This project will run through at least March 2023 and can be done 100% remotely from home. Skills needed include:- experience with and knowledge of the SAP HANA Sidecar database.- business acumen and ability to work with end users- some technical acumen to be able to run SQL and database knowledge to understand data sets that will be involved.- familiarity with Cognos will be extremely helpful- ability to know and understand what sources data could be coming from- an inquisitive mindset- experience with and knowledge of Finance, Inventory, AP, AR type of dataAdditional Project Background:Modeling will be done, Power BI will be on top of it and will bring in data from legacy data sources and SAP (which will be from business units that are converting to SAP). They aren't bringing in any historical SAP data. Those BUs which haven't converted to SAP also must be able to see the data, so client wants to be able to run one report for a specific data set so everyone can see the same accurate picture.The Solution Analysts will be organized by data sets (i.e. Sales, AR, Inventory). The SA roles will champion their specific data sets to ensure they understand the requirements and understand the data needs for end users so they can put a strategy and approach together to get data pipelined over, unified, and testing done (design, build, test).The Solution Analyst needs to understand the current as-is reports & the data sets involved, and will help solve for what a future state solution will look like. They will organize into squads where the SA will be the leader, and each squad will include a data modeler, a QA resource, and a Power BI developer to cover the front and backend of the solution. The SA will be tasked with delivering the key reports as well as identifying and coordinating with the other SAs regarding key design decisions and key solutions that need to be better aligned and coordinated.Formal Job Description:The Solution Data Analyst working with the HANA Data Modelers and the Business, will participate in designing, modeling and reporting on a native HANA (sidecar) Data Warehouse using sources like SAP ECC, Oracle EBS, and other Enterprise systems.
