Modis is searching for a SAP Hana Developer for a long term contract in Houston, Texas.

As the Hana Developer, you will be:

•       Solving technical and complex development problems on multiple projects associated with business warehouses (BW) on HANA architecture;

•       Implementing full lifecycles of Business Intelligence (BI)/BW functionality, designing the solution, and providing support to the business;

•       Developing and configuring BI/BW applications that meet functional business requirements and processes;

•       Designing and developing BW Objects and Transformations, and carrying out Business Content configuration, Capacity Planning, and sizing using SAP ASAP methodologies;

•       Performing SAP BW HANA modeling and optimization, including for hybrid scenarios;

•       Developing complex algorithms to build analytical models as per the customer need using ABAP, SQL and JAVA script;

•       Developing SAP HANA analytical model's such as Calculation Views, CDS Views, and Memory Tables and writing SQL Store Procedures to transform data for reporting needs for S/4 Embedded Analytics;

• Designing and developing SAP and Non-SAP Business Intelligence (BI) Software components in all phases of the system life cycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and support
• Developing Input Screens with Complex algorithms to Process Manual entry data along with Current and Historical Transaction data in Integrated Planning (SAP BW-IP) ;
• Modifying existing software to enhance SAP delivered code to meet business requirements and to improve performance in SAP solutions such as Business Warehouse (BW), HANA, Integrated Planning (IP), Design Studio, AO, Data Services (BODS) and Tableau;    

•       Participating in major upgrades of systems and software tools utilizing advanced knowledge of SAP BI Development application development toolset such as Integrated Planning, HANA, Business Objects, and Tableau;

•       Performing Data Modelling along with development and implementation of BW objects like InfoObjects, InfoCubes, DataSources, Extractors, Process Chains, User Exits, MultiProviders, Hierarchies, Transformations, ABAP Programs, BEx Queries, Analysis Process & Design (APDs) and other ETL processes;

•       Working with TFS and GIT for source control and versioning;

•       Tracking all activity in Agile development methodology;

•       Developing and directing software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation;

•       Working on HANA 2.0 and SAP Design Studio for complex Reporting Solutions for the business which involves extracting and transforming data from Different Sources such as Big Data.
