SAP GTS Specialist
Job Summary:
The person hired for this position will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of global trade compliance software throughout the enterprise. This position requires knowledge and expertise with deploying the SAP Global Trade Services module. The role requires the ability to work with cross-functional teams from different businesses and countries. The capability of this person to lead the GTS deployment team, as well as communicate with key stakeholders, will help ensure success of the BT organization.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
o Design, create, and document SAP GTS applications and functionality in support of Logistics Execution functions in client's businesses and subsidiaries including: full lifecycle deliverables from Blueprinting to Deployment
o Review all deliverables throughout the project lifecycle to ensure completeness, consistency, quality and requirement traceability
o Mentor peers in GTS and SAP functionality to ensure a stronger, more capable team to support global compliance requirements
o Responsible for meeting project deliverables and exit criteria on schedule
Basic Qualifications:
o Possess a Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
o Minimum of three (3) years of experience with trade compliance and/or supply chain business processes in a private, public, government or military environment
o Minimum of two (2) years of experience with SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) solution
Preferred Qualifications:
o Ability to work across a highly matrixed organization to accomplish goals
o Proven ability to identify, focus, and own high priority tasks to manage delivery to project timelines
o Demonstrates ability to manage, lead and coordinate all deployment activities including fit/gap analysis, build, test, system cutover and hypercare support
o Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to learn quickly and deliver results in a high pressure, high profile environment
o Experience with Lean/Agile methodology
Travel: May include up to 25% domestic/international
