Job Description Summary
The SAP Security and Governance, Regulatory & Compliance (GRC) Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of SAP systems and applications. The candidate will design, develop, and implement security and compliance policies, procedures, and controls to protect the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of SAP systems

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain SAP security policies, procedures, and controls in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Design and implement SAP role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure that users have appropriate access to SAP systems and applications.

Perform risk assessments and security audits of SAP systems and applications to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.

Develop and implement SAP compliance programs to ensure that SAP systems and applications meet regulatory requirements, such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Provide guidance and support to SAP application owners and users on security and compliance best practices.

Participate in SAP implementation projects to ensure that security and compliance requirements are integrated into the project plan.

Work with external auditors to provide evidence of SAP system and application security and compliance.

Collaborate with the IT Security team to ensure that SAP systems and applications are integrated into the overall IT security framework
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in SAP security, role definition and design

Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as SOX, GDPR, and HIPAA will be beneficial for this role
Desired Qualifications

Hands on experience creating, maintaining and trouble shooting SAP roles
