We are recruiting for a senior level SAP functional expert to support design and development for SAP Funds Management Expert (FI-FM) working in support of a DoD customer. Qualified candidates will have experience in a DoD environment and expertise to support business processes for SAP requirements and design.  This position requires expert level business process guidance on SAP requirements and design and experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP FM.

Role and responsibilities include:

• Support SAP FM configuration and functionality
• Provide expertise for SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and SAP MM (Materials Management) to integrate functionality
• Provide design and development support for FM functionality
• Support transaction processing for budget entry supplements, transfers returns funds reservations, funds commitments, budgetary ledger, special purpose ledger, and budget version planning
• Perform year end close
• Enable automatic availability control and checking
• Reconcile differences between AVC and FM ledgers

Requirements include:

• U.S. citizenship
• Current security clearance (minimum Secret level)
• 5+ years of experience supporting SAP FM configuration and functionality preferably in a DoD environment
• Experience with MM, SD, and FI to integrate functionality in GFEBS
• Expertise working with SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and SAP MM (Materials Management) to integrate functionality
• SAP FM expertise with Budgetary Ledger Derivation, SFIS Derivation, FM Budgeting, and FM Derivation
• Expertise with FM business process for functional areas including:
  • Experience with Budgetary Ledger Derivation
  • Experience with SFIS Derivation
  • Experience with FM Budgeting
  • Experience with FM Derivation
• Experience with Standard Financial Information Structure (SFIS) compliance tools and resources
• Prior experience with Army GFEBS is a plus
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to support a blended government and contractor team
