Responsibilities:

• Develops, sustains, and manages a team responsible for partnering with business functional management to execute/lead projects and support existing SAP systems.
• Provides the needed project management and SAP functional expertise to effectively manage projects within the business system portfolios.

• Conducts business process analysis, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analyses. Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify complex information systems.
• Develops and maintains project and communication plans and schedules, managing deadlines and coordinating project team and sub-team activities
• Assimilates and integrates dependent project plans from other entities and coordinates activities that have dependencies with other projects
• Estimates project skill requirements, working with the management teams inside and outside of IT to identify appropriate resources, and managing their integration into the team.
• Defines and gains consensus on deliverables, milestones and scope, communicates status and vision to internal client management and stakeholders.
• Provides oversight for SAP business systems projects and consults project teams and IT leadership on best practices.

• Works with internal business customers and functional IT groups to develop short and long-term systems plans.
• Is responsible for overall performance and pay management of the team, including regular performance evaluations.
• Leads highly skilled, cross-functional teams (COE, software developers, IT Operations, contractors/vendors, business stakeholders and consultants) across one or more project.
• Influences and interacts at very high levels with decision-makers both internally and externally.
• Collaborates with infrastructure project management in setting project priorities and communicating with all relevant teams/individuals (Business and IT).
• Maintains SAP system integrity as one of a group of approvers for the software changes across SAP applications landscape.

Requirements and Skills:

• 6 or more years of SAP project delivery experience.
• 5 years' experience as a project manager, with experience developing and executing project plans.
• 3-5 years of demonstrated management/supervisory experience in systems development, ideally including specific experience in: Managing application development and support teams; Managing technical teams in a diverse global environment.
• 2 years' experience with full SAP lifecycle implementations (any module).
• Experience in M&A due diligence and acquisition integration.
• Experience with annual business planning and budget management.
