SAP Functional Analyst

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for capturing business requirements, preparing functional specifications for the global systems group and coordinating with the technical team where needed
• Review, analyze, and implement change requests that are submitted for system enhancements, changes, etc. Lead small business requirement discussions
• Ensure that application changes are appropriately documented, tested and reviewed and occur in agreed change control windows with appropriate monitoring
• Keep management and end-users informed on the status of all change requests
• Consult with technical team on all suggested enhancements/changes and develop recommendations for review
• Participate and sometimes lead any required system testing, to include writing test scripts
• Maintain knowledge of new and changing technologies, new hardware, new software, and systems techniques that provide the most competitive business tools to support the overall global finance applications group

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree in computer science or information management, or equivalent experience required
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience and expertise with FI/CO and at least one other SAP module (MRS, CPM, BPC) ; S/4 Hana experience a plus
• Experience with OpenText and VIM a plus
• Working knowledge of SOLMAN required
• Working knowledge of SAP security a plus
• SAP finance ERP implementation experience required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Uunderstanding of the integration between ECC/S/4Hana and other applications such as content management systems, bank interfaces, EDI interfaces, etc. required
• Expert understanding of the integration between SAP components as well as third party applications required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
