Our large Oil and Gas client by default is an SAP client. However, legacy ERP systems are utilized for various processes. The legacy Sinclair ERP system is AS400.

AS-400 ERP financial system to process files and create a variety of entries for their various sales, payments, the distributers they utilize, billing, charge-backs, and credit card usage.

The ideal candidate will be leading the effort to pull data out of each of those areas and move it to SAP. In the current architecture, everything is being sent from one DB to another, and then routed to AS-400 via Batch file to get the Financials created. The future state is to route everything to SAP instead but not change everything in the process.

We will need someone with BA/BS/Functional experience in this process. Tech-Functional skill set and a good understanding of the technical details will be a plus

The resource will be working with internal SAP and Business stakeholders to document the AS-IS process flow and create Business requirements and Functional specification documentation for the Interface needs.


This person will need to know Chargebacks, how Credit Card data is pulled and handled and how the end-to-end Integration will work between different systems (AS-400 and SAP).

This person will also need to have a retail industry background (at least 4 Projects)

End-to-End knowledge will be key-critical also.

Ideal candidates would be AS-400 ERP Financial resources or SAP Finance resources as long as they have AS-400 experience including integration experience with other ERPs.




Sound knowledge of SAP PI middleware tool.

***Phase 1 is to work with AS-400 ERP. Phase 2 will involve identifying a new POS system and/or gateway to meet their needs. SAPs POS solution is on the table, but they want to review and consider all options
