We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Specialist/Analyst to join our finance team and provide expertise in leveraging SAP ERP system capabilities for financial management and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, coupled with in-depth knowledge of SAP's financial modules.

The SAP Finance Specialist/Analyst will play a crucial role in optimizing financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting, and contributing to strategic financial decision-making. Also, the candidate will be able to explore Workshops - configure systems, out-of-the-box functionality, gap analysis, additional development, provide a solution, and conduct another workshop to check if everyone is okay with a proposed solution.

*Full-time position - W2 contract*

Role and Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with finance and IT teams to implement, configure, and maintain SAP Financial modules (SAP FICO) to support financial planning, accounting, and reporting functions.
    • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset management, within the SAP system.
    • Perform regular reconciliations and validations of financial data in SAP to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
    • Assist in designing and implementing financial controls, workflows, and approval processes within SAP to enhance financial governance.
    • Generate and analyze financial reports, statements, and KPIs using SAP's reporting tools, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary data and documentation from the SAP system.
    • Participate in SAP system upgrades, enhancements, and projects related to finance, ensuring smooth transitions and optimal system performance.
    • Provide end-user training and support for SAP financial modules, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and facilitating knowledge transfer.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within SAP Finance modules to enhance efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
    • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, financial regulations, and SAP updates, and ensure their proper implementation within the SAP system.
    • Support cross-functional teams by providing financial insights and data analysis to aid in decision-making and strategic planning.
    • Work closely with clients to articulate business problems and translate them into an appropriate solution design.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Requires 10+ years on Interim Finance Solution experience SAP Dassian Add On.
    • Ability to write BPD's functional specifications, Configuration Design, Build SAP configuration, Test the solution
    • Aerospace and Defense Industry experience is a must
    • Ability to conduct Explore Phase workshops.
    • Excellent Communication Skills
    • Travel as per required by the client.
