IT Finance Analyst - Treasury/Tax

The Chemours Company headquartered in Wilmington, DE has an IT Finance Analyst - Treasury/Tax position available. This is a highly visible, key role within the Company and the Information Technology function. This position will report to the IT Senior Director.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Responsible for designing and deploying solutions to achieve defined business objectives.
- Analyzes specifications utilizing appropriate architecture processes. Integrates architecture planning, implementation and governance across business process, solutions, and technology architecture.
- Simplify and standardize global Finance processes in the business, in SAP and related applications.
- Drive efforts to refine and improve the existing Finance solutions that have been implemented.
- Champion governance, alignment, and communication of SAP Best Practice activities.
- Provide support to key users for day-to-day problem resolution, including developing and executing occasional on-going trainings.
- Develop and maintain key user networks across regions, functional groups and business units.
- Lead and/or participate in business improvement projects.
- Actively participate in and provide support for all testing cycles to ensure business risk is avoided/minimized.
- Understand, troubleshoot and support Finance Treasury and Tax processes and associated applications: SAP FI/CO, Treasury related Applications/Interfaces, & Tax related Applications/Interfaces
Skill Requirements for this position include:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, finance, business administration, or other equivalent background/experience
- At least 5 years of experience with and knowledge of the following areas: SAP Finance (preferably S/4HANA Finance, SAP FI/CO)
- Treasury and Tax bolt-on applications and implementation
- Demonstrated experience in leading improvement projects, working with business/ operations resources
- Ability to effectively utilize the Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint)
- Strong listening, communication and facilitation skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability as a communicator and collaborator, and ability to build networks across diverse functions and cultures.
- Ability to effectively organize and present training content to key users.
- Up to 15% travel
