We have an outstanding opportunity to join our Business Applications Management Team as SAP FI/CO, Sr. Analyst. This position, located at our Windsor, CT provides support to multiple global manufacturing facilities. In the role you will partner with Finance, Accounting, IT and Operations leaders. This position reports to the SAP Leader.

Responsibilities

As SAP FI/CO, Sr. Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • SAP Financials Implementation and Support: Lead the implementation and provide ongoing support for SAP Financials, with a focus on FICO Controlling modules, including Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month-End Close, Overhead Assessment, and Settlement.
  • Business Process Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of complex business process requirements, identify opportunities for system improvements, and deliver effective solutions. Interpret, validate, and meticulously document customer requirements.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collect and understand business requirements. Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives, and develop necessary product modifications to meet client needs.
  • Module Customization: Design, customize, configure, and rigorously test FI/CO modules. Identify and resolve gaps, issues, and provide work-around solutions.
  • Client Liaison and Troubleshooting: Act as a liaison with clients for troubleshooting, investigating, analyzing, and resolving software problems.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive functional designs, test cases, and document results. Maintain detailed records of system configurations and modifications.
  • Process Enhancement: Proactively identify and propose business process and system enhancements to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Consulting Services: Provide consulting services on both new SAP implementations and existing support projects. Bridge the gap between business functions and the technical team.
  • User Support: Provide ad-hoc training and user support as needed to ensure the efficient use of SAP systems.
  • Mentorship: Work independently and occasionally act as a subject matter mentor to parts of the business, sharing your expertise and knowledge.

Education/Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • SAP Expertise: A minimum of 5 years of experience with multiple end-to-end SAP implementations within a manufacturing environment utilizing SAP ECC6.
  • Module Proficiency: A minimum of 3 years of SAP experience supporting General Ledger, along with expertise in at least 3 of the following functions: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-company Accounting, and Project System.
  • SAP Support: Experience in providing 2nd/3rd line support, project work, guidance, and best practice knowledge. You will work directly with the SAP support team, SAP support partner, business users, and super users.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% supporting projects and implementations
