Title:    SAP FICO  BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST 
We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst with a passion for cutting edge technology.
The Business Systems Analyst will engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously and be able to manage priorities

Job requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
The Business Systems Analyst will fulfill the project duties of initiating, planning, executing, closing, monitoring and controlling assigned IS/IT FINANCE projects. This will include, but is not limited to, defining and controlling the scope, managing risks and issues, creating and updating schedules, reporting status, forecasting and monitoring project financials, maintaining the project management system, integrating vendor activities and adhering to development methodologies and governance.           
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with 6-10 Years overall IS/IT experience with at least:

• 5 years of application development and maintenance experience.

• 5 years of experience in working with third party/external vendors.

• Prior experience working with off-shore personnel is a plus.

• Experience as a functional expert for SAP FICO, FA, and SD modules

SAP MM module experience a plus.

• Working knowledge of interface with external systems.

• Business process knowledge of accounts receivable, finished goods accounting, sales order and finished goods inventory management is a strong plus.

• Basic knowledge of Project Management methods, tools and application development process.

Job Description:
The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for working with business users in the Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Fixed Assets and Tax areas to help them define their Information Systems needs and translate that into requirements that can be delivered by Global IT vendors.

Coordinate and provide oversight for application development, maintenance and production support performed by different IT vendors and act as a liaison between business and technical teams. Act as functional subject matter expert for use of SAP ERP in the FICO, FA, and SD modules along with associated customizations and interfaces. Review and approve analysis and solution presented by technical teams from IT vendors using working knowledge of basic SAP technical landscape.

Must possess the skills to read, understand, interpret, and communicate technical systematic issues effectively to management and peers and should be able to demonstrate these skill categories: analytical, technical, managerial, and interpersonal. Implementations of SAP Financial systems for manufacturing is a plus.

Work independently with business users to define concepts under general direction of manager. Support the business users in creating business case by defining their system needs and by estimating appropriate high level costs and resource requirements. Should be able to challenge business users on their assumptions and proposed execution plan where necessary.

Support application development by being part of a project team and following SDLC processes to create deliverable assigned to Business Analysts including application testing.

Provide oversight and lead troubleshooting as required to restore critical application downtime or functionality loss caused by various issues like data interface gaps, configuration gaps or user errors.

  • W2/ HOURLY PAY RATE: Open (based upon experience and qualifications)
  • There is no “per diem” with this position
  • There is no relocation budgeted for this position. If this position requires you to relocate you will be responsible for those costs.
