ASAP Talent Services has been engaged by a global client to help recruit & hire a talented SAP FI/CO Solution Architect to their Houston team.This is a FTE corporate role - can be home offfice/hybrid bu with some trips to their local Houston offices as well as needed.S/4 HANA environment.
SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION
This role is responsible for designing and deploying finance solutions that enable the business community to achieve their goals while adhering to proper policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost versus benefit measurements.
- Analyze and map business requirements, processes and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy those needs.
- Responsible for the management of module scope.
- Development of 3-5 year strategic roadmaps encompassing the evolution of enterprise business solution portfolios from current to future state.
- Updates all design, configuration, and specification documentation and conducts a documentation walkthrough with the business.
- Leads workshops with the business to demonstrate and explain module functionality and best practice processes.
- Facilitate collaborative architecture discussions with the COE, IT and business representatives.
- Assist developers by responding to questions and clarifications.
- Assist in the performance of integration and acceptance testing.
- Be actively involved in the preparation, conceptualization, realization and Go-Live of SAP projects.
- Makes SAP configuration settings as required.
- Work collaboratively with the SAP COE team.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to be on-site at the office on-demand and regularly for various meetings, working sessions & projects related initiates.
- Maintain complete and open lines of communication with other personnel, functions, or departments to facilitate operations and interaction in the organization.
- Keep supervisor informed of status and progress, ensuring that regular and periodic communication takes place.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks and keeping abreast of industry trends and related compliance issues within the area of responsibilities.
EXPECTED COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Systems or related field or equivalent in years of experience.
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- 1 year hands-on/project experience with S4 HANA Simple Finance migrations or implementations.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Excellent oral, written and communication skills essential.

- Prior to S/4 HANA exp - a qualified FI/CO Architect will likely have 10+ years of focus within SAP ECC 6.0 as a FI/CO Lead and Sr. Functional Analyst with well-rounded business process knowledge (RTR) and expertise in: AP, AR, GL, SPL, Fixed Assets, AA, CCA, PCA, CO-PA and/or Product Costing.
