Job Description
The SAP FICO Functional Specialist is responsible for FI/CO configuration and reporting in Day & Zimmermann's SAP ECC systems. The FICO Specialist works closely with end users and other ERP Configuration Specialists to answer and resolve support calls and queries from business users. The FICO Specialist responsibilities include handling end user issues and testing and configuring of SAP Finance and Controlling modules.

What You'll Be Doing:

Perform necessary configuration/development changes to meet changing business needs and local/federal laws in the Financial Accounting and Controlling Modules of DZI's SAP Systems.

Identify and design requirements, system development, testing, training and support.

Verify the data integrity by working closely with key users to ensure accurate reporting and analysis of the key figures on the Operational P&L and Consolidation statements.

Provide solutions to all the FI/CO related support calls /queries from business users as an expert.

Responsible for executing the integration testing activities across the various project teams

Provide high quality customer service
What You Need To Bring To The Table:
-
Bachelors Degree in Accouting/Finance, Materials Management, IT, Engineering, Computer Science or related field

2-5 years relevant work experience in IT or Finance; 1-3 years SAP Configuration experience

SAP Certification Preferred but not mandatory
-
Strong Knowledge of SAP FI/CO configuration, integration, training, testing and implementation. Working Knowledge of US and Internamtionl GAAP. Experience in SAP ECC 5.0 or 6.0. Experince or exposure to Simple Finance.

Experience in the following SAP areas(most if not all): General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Special Purpose Ledger, Project Systems, Consolidation, Cost Center Accounting, Profit center Accounting, and Interanl Orders

Integration experience in the following areas of SAP: Sales and Distribution, Purchasing, Materials Management, Production, Plant Maintenance, HR and Payroll.

Strong reporting skills including Report Painter/ Report Writer/ ABAP Query. Proficient in the user of eCATT or WinShuttle/TxRunner related tools to load data into SAP. Ablility to write detailed Functional Spec for new enhancement/development.
