Our centrally located client is looking for a technical resource to contribute expertise in BW HANA modeling, design, and development. This is a long-term contract opportunity!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Define the Design Documents for the BW HANA Models.
• Review business requirements and translate into SAP BW HANA design, provide options and recommendations.
• Review deliverables and ensure conformation to the initial designs and that the blueprint is updated to reflect any significant changes. Implement SAP BW HANA Security including User Management, Roles, and Privileges.
• Design and develop extractors, DSOs, cubes and reports including the use of ABAP where necessary.
• Develop BW HANA migration and optimization work plans.
• Participate in the creation of BW HANA development standards while adhering to department policies, methodologies, standards, and guidelines.
• Proactively and effectively communicate potential problems, recommended solutions and progress.

Required Skills: 5-9 years experience with the following:

• Experience designing and delivering complex SAP BW/HANA enterprise solutions for global organizations.
• Experience with BW functional areas in QM,SD, MM, FI, FM, COPA, PP, PS, HR, SRM, CRM, SCM, APO.
• Strong knowledge of SAP BI Data architecture, Star schema and OLAP reporting models.
• SAP HANA architecture including Native HANA and BW on HANA SAP HANA modeling and knowledge of HANA Live Business Content.
• Hybrid Modeling with Native HANA and BW on HANA Security.
• Knowledge on exposing BW HANA views and Native HANA Modeling.
• Hands-on experience on LSA++ architecture with BW 7.4 on HANA and HANA Studio using ADSO, Open ODS Views, Smart Data Access, Transient, Virtual, and Composite Providers.
• Real-time data loads to HANA and BW on HANA using SLT and ODP extractors.
• HANA Information Modeler to create Attribute Views, Analytical Views, Calculation Views, Analytical privileges, Procedures, SQL Scripting.
• Optimizing HANA views for best performance.
• Experience working with ABAP.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ETL tools (such as Data Services) to extract both SAP and non-SAP data.
• Experience working with BI tools such as SAP Business Objects Analysis for Office, Design Studio and Tableau.
• SAP HANA Certification. ECC experience.
