• Create and maintain SAP Master Data elements such as Material Master, BOMs, Recipes, Production Versions, Business Partner, Vendor Master, Customer Master, etc.
• Provide Master Data support to cross-functional teams (e.g., Plan to Make, Procure to Pay, etc.).
• Steward Data Creation Workflow process.
• Maintain Data Creation forms, Dictionary and Training documents.
• Lead Periodic Data Review process and ensure SOP adherence.
• Enhance maturity and scope of existing Supply Chain Metrics through dashboard development.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

Allogene's Supply Chain organization is building a world class team that is focused on delivering potentially lifesaving therapies to patients. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join us as an SAP Data Specialist reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Process and Data Governance. The role will be a contract position for a period of 12 months with possible extension. This role may be performed remotely (US only) and may require periodic travel to Allogene headquarters in South San Francisco.

The primary objective for this role is to execute day to day operations pertaining to master data maintenance within SAP. Additionally, the individual will also support design and development of Supply Chain data reports.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Creation and maintenance of Master Data elements in SAP Production, Quality and Development environments. (E.g., Material Master, BOMs, Recipes, Production Versions, Vendor Master, Customer Master, etc.)
  • Provide Master Data support to cross-functional Business Process Owners and other team members (ex. Plan to Make, Procure to Pay, etc.).
  • Facilitate Weekly Governance forum meeting & Steward the SAP ECM Data Creation Workflow process.
  • Maintain data creation forms, data dictionary and training documents.
  • Participate in Test Cycles and User Acceptance Testing sessions for process enhancements to ensure data accuracy.
  • Perform Change control steps related to Master Data Change Actions
  • Develop LSMW scripts for data mass maintenance.
  • Support creation of SAP Analytics & Reports
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills:
2+ years of experience in using SAP for Supply Chain Business Processes.
• Expertise in S/4 HANA, SAP MDG, Python, SQL, and/or reporting tools (Tableau), are strongly desired
• Experience in a pharmaceutical or similarly regulated industry is a preferred
• Proven change management and project management competency.
• Excellent organizational skills and an ability to prioritize effectively to deliver results within reasonably established timelines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication are essential in this collaborative work environment.

Position Requirements & Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in using SAP for Master Data Business Processes.
  • Expertise in S/4 HANA, SAP MDG, Python, SQL, and/or reporting tools (Tableau), are strongly desired.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical or similarly regulated industry is a preferred.
  • Proven change management and project management competency.
  • Excellent organizational skills and an ability to prioritize effectively to deliver results within reasonably established timelines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
