We are looking for an SAP Data Engineer based in Westminster, CO, Longmont, CO or will consider remotely in the U.S. to collaborate with the cross-functional ERP business analyst team and business users to provide data for data analysts, financial analysts and users in reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain existing data structures and support new development use cases
  • Support ETL day-to-day monitoring and troubleshooting of existing architecture
  • Make recommendations and implement updates to support new business requirements
  • Work with analysts to support creation of reporting-friendly data views

Qualifications:

  • Must be a U. S. Citizen or permanent resident
  • Minimum of 5 years of data engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree or four additional years of work experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and ECC6 are a must, as well as general knowledge of various databases and ETL tools.
  • Experience with SAP SLT, SAP S/4HANA, and/or SAP Data Services
  • Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud
  • Experience working with data from various SAP Modules (Supply Chain, Finance, Project Systems, Production Planning, etc.)
  • ETL development experience
  • SAP ABAP/Basis for troubleshooting and identifying tables/structures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Business Objects Data Services (BODS) would be amazing.
  • Knowledge of relational databases, data warehouse/lake structure and function
  • Familiarity with visualization and analytics tools like Business Objects, Tableau, SuperSet, and PowerBI
  • Knowledge/understanding of geospatial data would be a plus
  • Additional skill sets a plus:
  • Experience with Tableau Server installation and administration on Linux
  • ETL development using Spark (using Java and Scala) to analyze large data sets running on AWS EMR
  • AWS administration experience
  • Airflow DAG creation
  • AWS Lambda/REST API Development
  • Experience with Postgres
  • SQL and geospatial data
  • Able to create Docker containers and deploy within a Kubernetes environment.
  • Experienced Python developer
  • AWS Glue experience. Using PySpark and Python
  • Experience with Database configuration tools such as Liquibase and/or Flyway
  • Infrastructure automation using tools Ansible, Terraform, and/or AWS CDK
  • Able to handle multiple priorities at one time and remain results-oriented
  • Work well both independently and in a team environment
  • Experience in a regulated environment
  • Knowledge of and work within the Agile methodology

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate's unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:
$98,000.00 - $163,000.00 annually.
