Position Description

As an SAP CRM Analyst, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Learn business processes and relevant software technologies and participating in the design, development, testing and implementation of SAP CRM and related sales applications
  • Develop systems, troubleshoot issues and train users on system usage
  • Maintain existing systems that support one or more departments, such as Field Implementation, Field Operations, Clinical Education and Clinical Development
  • Interface with various departments within the organization to understand their needs, document requirements, and collaborate in the design, configuration, development, testing, and implementation of the solution
  • Develop knowledge and skills in enterprise scale application design, development and implementation of systems, such as SAP CRM and related mobile applications
  • Participate in software validation activities to ensure that software solutions are designed to perform as intended
  • Support enterprise systems and business processes within one or more enterprise applications related to Sales/Marketing and Pipeline Management across multiple time zones and locations
  • Work on latest relevant software technologies to provide computer software solutions and applications to the organization
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and next generation platforms and recommend solutions that drive innovation and business value
  • Help identify opportunities for improvement in business processes and financial systems

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or Business Administration
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing and configuring the SAP CRM module on projects in a functional and technical capacity
  • Experience working on at least 1 full life cycle implementation involving SAP CRM and ECC integration
  • Experience with Configuration of SAP CRM functions and master data, such as WEBUI, Partner Processing, Organizational Model, Business/Technical Roles, Actions Profile, Determination Procedures, Middleware and Territory Management
  • Proficient technical writing skills and effective written and oral communication
  • Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • General knowledge of systems project lifecycle
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office


The following skills and attributes are preferred:

  • SAP CRM Certification
  • Experience with Software validation
  • Experience with a Life Sciences company
  • Experience working in an FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliant environment
