Insight Global is seeking an eCommerce Platform Tech Lead. This is a highly visible role that will assist with the technical strategy/development, architecture, and the platform roadmap within this rapidly expanding domain. This team role is responsible for supporting the technical delivery of a new enterprise-wide eCommerce solution on SAP Commerce Cloud. The Tech Lead will assist with technical design decisions, the overall technical strategy, help estimate effort on prioritized requirements, identify and share recommended solution approach, and coordinate execution within the team using agile development methods. Once the solution is established, the eCommerce Tech Lead will ensure continued product buildout success as well as the ongoing continuous improvements of the platform.

Your responsibilities include:

- Understands eCommerce related business process in order to strategically suggest and implement the right tools and solutions in order to drive business efficiency and defect reduction

- Communicates highly technical solutions to business partners at their level of technical understanding

- Enhances, maintains, and supports the development of systems throughout the Software Development Lifecycle according to the IT methodology, department SOPs, and team guidelines

-Creates and maintains system documentation according to the IT methodology (proposals, designs, test specifications, and other deliverables as necessary) for new and existing applications

- Provide end user demonstrations and support where needed

- Provides feasibility analysis of solutions on the SAP Commerce Cloud Platform

- Helps with solution design of business requirements and works with software engineers and architects to prioritize business requirements

- Support effort estimation or story pointing of business requirements

- Supports formal validation with scrum-team and business testers

- Provides support on issues during Sprint and validation cycles

- Helps in backlog grooming sessions along with Product Owner

- Provides support to scrum-master on Sprint Planning.

- Provides guidance and support to development team and testers on technical solutions

- Works with external groups including integration and deployment teams on technical issues; data mapping and solution delivery

- Attends all scrum events as required or needed

- Supports and strengthens technical knowledge base across the eCommerce program

- Lead discussions on design, development and deployment of custom features per business requirements

- Develop and document detailed technical specifications and data models for storefronts spanning multiple markets, product lines, and catalogs

- Act as Subject Matter Expert on the functional capabilities of SAP Commerce Cloud Platform

- Participate in task planning, coordination, ideation related to eCommerce application management

- Perform gap analysis by reviewing current and future technical landscapes

- Oversee technical design discussions and implementation services

- Bachelors degree; Masters preferred

- 3+ years of SAP experience implementing SAP Hybris 6.x and strong knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud

- Experience customizing Hybris based e-Commerce Applications (CronJobs, ImpEx, Catalogs, Categories, Components)

- Experience with Unit Testing frameworks and general code quality standards

- Strong knowledge of CCV2 integration architecture with SCPI, SAP Code Extension factory and S/4 HANA

- Solid knowledge of web technologies such as Java, J2EE, jQuery, Angular JS, Spring framework

- Experience in working with version control systems Bitbucket and Atlassian suite

- Strong knowledge of eCommerce tools (payment, issue tracking, source code management, build and testing)

- Work experience with the eCommerce agile development process, scrum and sprint planning activities

-Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies

- Experience designing and implementing global B2B solutions and B2C features on Spartacus

- Understanding of the full breadth of needs for a solution to be brought to market (infrastructure, QA, UA, security, etc.)

- Able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization - both written and oral communication

- Able to work on a team, in person, and in a collaborative virtual setting

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to produce high quality software under tight time constraints

- Proven experience working in a regulated environment with quality systems which includes strong documentation skills

- Self-motivated, self-directed, adaptable

- Strong organizational skills, experience leading large development teams and strategic initiatives

- Experience partnering with Marketing and Sales business functions.
