**Overview:** Business Transformation Services (BTS) is the advisory arm of SAPs Services organization. We assist clients in achieving their Digital Transformation vision and driving Business value from their SAP and other IT investments. SAPs vision is to drive business value and successful outcomes by helping our customers understand how best to leverage, implement and optimize SAP solutions for the industries in which they operate.

Our team draws on insights and experience from thousands of SAP customer implementations. BTS works with customers at the program level through the life cycle of their engagement with SAP. We start in the sales phase interacting at the Business/Enterprise level to define, deliver, and measure strategic business outcomes. BTS helps drive the Land, Adopt, Consume and Expand model of engagement which is key to our customers and SAPs success.

The BTS Enterprise Architect role will lead innovation and digital transformation initiatives for SAPs customers. It will involve coordination with SAP RISE teams and driving opportunities for SAP Services. The role is focused on the Midwest Market unit and involves extensively working with Services Sales, ASC (offshore) and Delivery teams in the Market unit. The scoped engagements include Greenfield, conversions and moves to hyperscalars.

This is a key leadership role, requiring deep knowledge and understanding of SAP solutions as well as core business processes and industry best practices.

Excellent facilitation and communication skills are essential as is the ability to effectively engage with executive stakeholders, partners and SAP account teams.

**Key Competencies:**

+ Manage Architecture and process governance on SAP/partner led projects with focus on Customer life-time value

+ Guide customer teams in using Enterprise Architecture frameworks, establishing governance models, and implementing business process modeling disciplines

+ Work effectively across SAP/customer teams and functions for achievement of business outcomes

+ Work with Market unit sales and services colleagues to position and solution Services engagements

+ Facilitate collaborative architecture discussions with our customers IT and business executives

+ Develop 35-year strategic roadmaps encompassing the evolution of enterprise business solution portfolios from current to future state.

+ Leverage industry and SAP reference architectures for successful transformation outcomes

**Qualifications:**

+ Strong leadership skills - able to lead customer engagements at an executive level

+ Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation

+ Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences

+ Ability to Solution proposals and estimate the financial impact of various solution architecture alternatives

+ 10-15 years of SAP experience 10 years consulting experience

+ 10 years of enterprise architecture (business & IT) experience

+ Business process expertise in one or more areas across a customer's value chain

+ Relevant SAP and enterprise architecture certifications such as TOGAF, Open CA, IASA are valued

+ MBA preferred

**Compensation Range Transparency** : SAPbelieves the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAPs commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 146,000 - 326,100 USD.The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidatewill be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills,experience, scope ofthe role, location, etc. as determinedthrough theselection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
