As an SAP Business Process Owner, you are the regional process owner for the Supply Chain domain that covers the following processes: Planning, logistics, purchasing (Traded Goods), inventory management.

Situation in Organization

Is a key member of the team responsible for SAP business process improvement and optimization. Reports to the Global BPO Supply Chain and Business Implementation Leader Americas Region

Job Dimensions

Regional process owner for the Supply Chain domain that covers the following processes: Planning, logistics, purchasing (Traded Goods), inventory management. Regional reference for the processes in their area working closely with the global process owner and with the key users of the BU's (through networking team). This role includes the change management analysis within the organization.

Functional Scope:

  • Planning: Forecasting, production scheduling, S&OP, inventory control
  • Buying: Purchase planning and PO execution
  • Warehouse Management: Whse Setup, cycle counting, receiving put-a-way
  • Shipping: Transport planning, pick-pack-stage, tender, loading, transport routing strategy, structure, design and setup, freight costing, reporting and auditing

Activities

Practice safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and EPA guidelines, and Bostik specific EHS

Support the design and the consolidation of the core model processes

  • Support the Global BPO for the design of the Bostik SAP Supply Chain core model
  • Promote the Bostik Supply Chain core model throughout the organization
  • Voice of the region providing process design and optimization leadership and requirements in collaboration with Global Process Owner
  • Analyse the recurrent problems raised involving Supply Chain domain, tackle the root causes and prepare when necessary the documentation for validation in Arbitration Committee
  • Propose and implement simplifications of the complex or inefficient solutions
  • Coordinate the training material and organization, and the user's documentation improvement
  • Animate the network of Key Users, display continuous improvement and best practices, in close contact with the global BPO of the domain
  • Support master data governance for assigned processes or functional areas. Facilitates resolution of conflict related to master data ownership and maintenance

Drive the maturity and the performance enhancements for their domain :

  • Manage for their domain the maturity assessments sessions, drive then validate with the plants the improvement action plans associated
  • Monitor regularly with the Key Users and managers the progress of the improvement actions
  • Keep aware of benchmarking feedbacks, possible disrupting tools or technologies, impacts of the digital initiative
  • Collaborate with other regional process owners for end-to-end integrated processes to ensure integrated solution are designed, implemented

Implement KPI's and performance measurement

  • Define and display to the Supply Chain managers and the BU's a set of performance and process KPI's
  • Drive the associated management / rituals of Supply Chain
  • Support the implementation of appropriated reports and dashboards to the Supply Chain managers

Support growth

  • Bringing the Supply Chain expertise in the different projects impacting the area's activities

Context and Environment

Job is part of the Supply Chain experts team, aiming at optimizing the regional Supply Chain processes, organization and performances. The Process Owner will work regionally with the associated network of teams and BU key users, in close touch with solution expert counterparts (iTeam). BPO will also insure the bridge with the other areas through close communication with the Global Process Owner for Supply Chain

Qualifications / Experience Required

  • Bachelor degree in business, supply chain or information technology discipline. Advanced degree a plus
  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience in supply chain areas covering planning, purchasing, warehouse, logistics and inventory management.
  • Deep knowledge and work experience in SAP
  • Demonstrated competency as trainer including development of training materials and conducting training
  • Demonstrated competency in business process improvement, strategic thinking and KPI measuring and benchmarking
  • Proven data mining and analytic skills with ability to collect, organize, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail. Adept at queries, report writing, interpreting and presenting findings
  • Strong verbal, written, persuasive, conflict management skills. Ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
  • Change management experience resulting in organizational readiness and sustained adoption of implemented changes
