SAP Business Objects Report / ETL Developer

Position will be responsible for the administration and development of ETL processes and reporting in a data warehouse environment using Business Objects Data Services in conjunction with Oracle Stored Procedures and tools within the Business Objects Enterprise Reporting Suite.  This role requires experience in universe design/troubleshooting, data source connectivity, application server installations, patches, and version migrations.  A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, fine attention to detail, and be able to work independently with business users on development efforts to deliver accurate content in a timely and effective manner. Monitor and maintain schedule of ETL jobs & Enterprise reporting. Administer key month-end tasks supporting data and automated journal entries for the month-end financial close. Designs and develops ETL solutions using a combination of SAP Data Services and Oracle stored procedures.

Writes technical design documentation (e.g. data flow diagrams, mapping documents, etc.).Participates in technical design sessions as a member of a project team. Performs research to identify source and nature of data required for ETL solutions. Performs tests of ETL data flows. ETL performance tuning, Optimization, and Code Quality Install, configure and upgrade Business Objects applications; maintain patch levels. Monitor system performance and availability to identify and resolve performance issues tuning the Business Objects system for optimum performance. Meet with BI users to understand how they are using Business Objects, discuss performance, and support issues.

This is a direct hire role or contract to hire for our Concord NC based client - the salary range is $110,000 - $120,000 or they may consider contract to hire.
