Job Summary – Business Intelligence Developer

Apex's client is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to be responsible for the data manipulation, architecture, design, development and implementation of SAP reporting solutions.

Essential Functions:

1. Consults with the talent insights specialist using SAP solutions and applications.
2. Gathers all the requirements, develop and implement SAP reporting platforms, provide end users with instructions, and troubleshoot any issues if they arise.
3. Analyzes, designs, develops, and tests data connections, universes, and dashboards/reports. 
4. Builds report/visualizations within the analytic framework to support key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics. 
5. Reviews functional requirements, performance criteria, and data consumption needs to support the design of technical components.
6. Designs and develops analytical queries, reports and visualizations utilizing the Enterprise Business Objects Suite of tools (e.g., Crystal Reports, Web Intelligence Reports, Lumira Visualizations and OLAP queries).
7. Executes test activities and address/resolve technical issues to align with Z

Skills and qualifications

1. Bachelor degree in computer science, information technology, or a related subject.
2. A minimum of two years of experience working with business intelligence or data warehousing, as well as significant experience in consulting and dealing with clients. 
3. Advanced knowledge of the design, development and implementation of SAP business intelligence solutions.
4. Knowledge to design multi-dimensional models and have an excellent understanding of various data integration processes and BI methodologies.
5. Strong SAP applications design, development, integration, process design, configuration, testing, deployment, and SAP application technical architecture.
6. Excellent knowledge of various SAP tools, such as SAP BusinessObjects BI Solutions (Web Intelligence, SAP Cloud Analytics).
7. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential for most jobs in the field, as are good analytical and problem-solving skills.
