Summary

Reporting to the Department Manager of Accounting and IS, the SAP Business Analyst will be responsible for working with SAP ECC and supporting SAP users with operational problems and providing system enhancements.

Responsibilities

Trouble shooting

·  Daily trouble shooting with all aspects of SAP ERP/MRP system

·  EDI investigations on errors both incoming and outgoing

·  EDI load investigations on improper loads for customer schedule

·  BOM investigation

Development Requirements

·  Create work instructions and process flows

·  Create new processes for EDI set

Configuring of SAP

·  Configure ERP and MRP systems & support users in the areas of:

~ Planning process

~ Purchasing process

~ Production Reporting, both manual and automatic

~ Bills of Material Set up

~ Routing Set up

~ Shipping & Receiving processes

~ Accounts Payable & Receivable

~ Costing

Writing Functional Design Specifications

·  Work with offsite programmers to assist in meeting system needs (SAP)

·  Translate notes, concepts, and scope into complete requirement documents.

Working with Developers on Problem Resolution and New Features

·  Work with offsite company on resolution of SAP system issues

·  SAP implementation and problem resolution

Testing

·  EDI testing for SAP

Develop Training Materials

·  Creating training materials and presentations for hands-on training

Train end Users in Support of SAP

·  Train Employees on new MRP systems

Special Projects as Required

Qualifications

●  4 year degree

●  Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience is desired

●  Strong knowledge of Company processes and systems

●  Strong experience with ERP systems is required

●  Strong experience with EDI systems, particularly automotive, is highly desirable
