The BTS Finance Architect role will lead innovation and digital transformation initiatives for SAPs largest and most important customers. The responsibilities of this role include creating strategic and tactical roadmaps charting the deployment of digital solutions SAP offers while developing compelling business cases to help guide our customers strategic decision-making activities.

The BTS Finance Architect will provide comprehensive advice to our customers on long- and short-term opportunities for their key strategic initiatives and recommend innovations which anticipate the future direction of both business and IT stakeholders in the Finance areas (with focus on CPG, Energy (Chemicals and O&G) and / or Manufacturing).

**Key Competencies:**

+ Facilitate collaborative architecture discussions with our customers IT and business executives

+ Work effectively across multiple functions and teams to define clear requirements to achieve business outcomes

+ Analyze key business and IT requirements in the Finance areas (with focus on CPG, Energy (Chemicals and O&G) and / or Manufacturing)

+ Development of strategic roadmaps for the Finance areas encompassing the evolution of enterprise business solution portfolios from current to future state

+ Identify improvement potentials within the Finance areas (with focus on CPG, Energy (Chemicals and O&G) and / or Manufacturing)

+ Influence transition states toward joint business outcomes building on SAP solution value

**Qualifications:**

+ Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation - able to lead customer engagements at an executive level

+ Proven excellent knowledge in Finance processes (with focus on CPG, Energy (Chemicals and O&G) and / or Manufacturing) and deep implementation knowledge in SAP ECC, S/4HANA and cloud solutions for Finance (ideally in CPG, Energy (Chemicals and O&G) and / or Manufacturing)

+ Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences

+ Ability to estimate the financial impact of various solution architecture alternatives

+ 5 years of SAP solution experience

+ 5 years management consulting experience

+ 10 years of solution and / or architecture (business & IT) experience

+ MBA preferred

**Compensation Range Transparency** : SAPbelieves the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAPs commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 146,000 -326,100 USD.The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidatewill be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills,experience, scope ofthe role, location, etc. as determinedthrough theselection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
