    HollyFrontier Corporation located in Dallas, TX is seeking a SAP BPC Financial Analyst. The SAP BPC Financial Analyst conducts advanced/expert level support for the Enterprise Plant maintenance, purchasing and warehouse system and associated process improvements for the Information Technology Department. Provides technical advice and makes recommendations to address business requirements.

    This position is not eligible for International Relocation Program benefits.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: (functions considered essential as defined by ADA)

    • Manages the support of enterprise SAP EPM/BPC with interfaces to HollyFrontier’s primary financial application.
    • Leads process improvement initiatives for company.
    • Consults regularly with management and end users on needs and requests.
    • Manages the design, development and support for all integration into and out of the enterprise Financial applications and its related applications (e.g. SAP & BW).
    • Directs all compliance activities associated with this application, including Sarbanes Oxley and Operating audits as well as policies and procedures maintenance and their enforcement.
    • Leads large system integration projects, design workshops and continuous improvement activities as needed.
    • Provides end-user support and training both on site and remotely.
    • Works with Managers in establishing new procedures and policies.
    • Acts as liaison between end users and application support.
    • Monitors and updates established configurations.
    • Evaluates, tests, and recommends new organization configurations.
    • Writes clear, concise, and accurate documentation and sets up and generates miscellaneous ad-hoc reports.

    Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.

    EXPERIENCE:

    A minimum of 10 years of on-the-job experience is required with five years’ of direct experience working with SAP BPC/EPM is required.

    EDUCATION LEVEL:

    A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent combination of education (in a technical field) and work experience, is required.

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    Functional/technical proficiency with at least 2+ full lifecycle SAP implementations and 8+ years of industry and/or consulting experience

    • At least 5 years of SAP experience implementing SAP BPC.
    • At least 2+ full cycle implementation of BPC, BPC 10.1 Embedded, BPC Optimized for S4 desirable.
    • 5+ years in managing complex legal consolidation, Budget and Forecasting in SAP EPM Tools.
    • Experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
    • Strong configuration and design skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft office tools, particularly Excel Technical knowledge and overview of: HANA Studio BW 7.4(5) Analysis for Office EPM Add-in.

    SUPERVISORY/MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    May direct or lead the work of others depending on the project.

    WORK CONDITIONS:

    Office based with up to 15% travel by land and air required. May be required to work in petroleum refinery, and warehouse/plant environments. Occasional long hours, as well as nights and weekends as needed. Subject to all weather and varying road conditions.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Job conditions require sitting, talking or hearing, making precise hand and finger movements, making visual inspections, and the ability to operate and drive all assigned company vehicles at company standard insurance rates is essential, and valid State driver’s license and proof of insurance. Job conditions may require standing and walking.
