As the SAP BI Specialist, you will manage the development, integration, data governance, data analytics and reporting of Red Bull North America's business systems that are on the forefront of the industry. You will master BW ETL and Bex Reporting with BW4HANA, and BW Modeling in Eclipse, and have experience with Native HANA via HANA Studio, SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Analysis for Microsoft. You will report to the Director, SAP BI Solutions, and be located in Santa Monica, California.

• REQUIRMENTS GATHERING
  

  Build knowledge about Red Bulls systems and business processes

  Support business writing business scope statements

  Document measurements for success and insights together with business

• CREATE/REVIEW HIGH-LEVEL ARCHITECTURE DOCUMENTS
  

  Translate business scope statements into high-level data models

  Model transactional data and master data into extraction layers, harmonization layers and transformations layers

  Present proposals and do reviews with architects

• CREATE/REVIEW DETAILED DESIGN DOCUMENTS
  

  Design data models that are flexible and high performing

  Define transformations and other ETL required

  Define restricted and calculated key figures

• DEVELOP COMPLEX ETL SOLUTIONS IN BW4HANA AND HANA STUDIO
  

  Create objects in development environment, perform unit testing, transport to stage environment

  Support business during user acceptance testing

  Transport to production environment and support business during cutover

• DESIGN/DEVELOP REPORTING SOLUTIONS USING BEX, ANALYTICS CLOUD, ANALYSIS FOR OFFICE
  

  Design data marts providing high performance

  Create reports, dashboards and stories together with business

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

• 6+ years of SAP BW experience, with 2+ of these as senior developer
• 3+ full years of development of Supply Chain related BI projects, including experience with data from SD, MM, EWM, TM, APO, IBP
• Medium to High-level ABAP (enhancement of data sources, routines) and AMDP skills
• Strong transporting, Bex, Composite Provider, Process Chain skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
• Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage
