Position is on the staff of a not-for-profit government consulting firm located in McLean, VA.  The selected candidate will work on-site (Monday-Friday) at client organization located in Huntsville, AL.  Position requires a highly skilled certified Business Intelligence SAP analyst.  Consultant must be capable of working in a dynamic PMO organization in a fast paced, multi-tasking, environment.

Responsible for supporting the SAP BI/BW and GCSS-Army Increment 2 (SAP ERP) projects in activities for the implementation of analytics solutions. The AESIP Hub Business Analyst will carry out the requirements to deliver sound functional system specifications and support the delivery of the technical solutions through each phase of the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle).  To this end, the business analyst will work closely with the AESIP Test Manager, SAP Architects, Development Lead and Developers. Develop, edit, and test SAP business process documentation for clarity and accuracy, develop and edit business process flows, business procedures, PowerPoint training presentations and related training communications, capture and provide user support documentation to the training lead, and Interface directly with project functional teams including configuration consultants and client's process leads and subject matter experts. Essential duties and responsibilities:
• Lead workshops to drive out the details required for delivery of the SDLC phase deliverables
• Develops SDLC phase deliverables including System Requirements Specification (SRS), Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), Functional Specs (FS)
• Participates in development and brief of SDLC milestones
• Works with the process owners to understand the business requirements
• Participates actively in Test Plan preparation
• Assist in defining Test Scope
• Defines sequence of test execution activities and run plan
• Supports Test Scenarios
• Identifies and manages test data
• Work with developers to prepares Test Data
• Prepares data guidelines/requirements
• Follows up and provides test data
• Support testing activities
• Using the standards and templates created to develop work products such as Training and reference guides, work Instructions, simulations, and distance learning scripts
• Working with process team members to create, revise, and validate end-user learning materials
• May be required to assist in delivering training

• Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or Business discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Active Secret Clearance
• Expertise in software development lifecycle
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Army systems or similar DoD efforts a plus
• Detailed knowledge of testing tools and MS Office is preferred
• Full time located in Huntsville, AL
• 10% Travel required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience with executive-level communication.
• Hands on delivery of best practices spanning all phases of a project's lifecycle Experience Required:
• Experience working with functional consultants & business process owners to understand and document functional requirements and to devise appropriate test scenarios
• Extensive knowledge of multi-tiered database systems development including front end development, middle tier service development, and back end database development.
• At least 5 years of SAP ERP functional team experience
• Expertise in developing test plans
• Instructional design experience developing end-user learning documentation including: concept slides, work instructions, exercise guides, quick reference guides, system demonstration, web based simulation tutorials and exercise
