Expand your professional career as an SAP Basis Project Analyst with MAU at our client in Greer, SC. As an SAP Basis Project Analyst, you will consult with local representatives of Process IT (PIT) and Application Operation on available SAP Basis solutions within the company's infrastructure as well as steering global providers of SAP Operations. This is a long-term W-2 contract position with an opportunity for hire by the client.

  • Bachelor's degree OR 4+ years of related experience in Information Technology
  • 3+ years of technical experience in Information Technology specifically pertaining to SAP System landscapes in a production environment
  • 3+ years of consulting and/or IT project experience
  • 3+ years of experience demonstrating organizational, problem solving, and communication skills as proven through business application
  • 1+ years of Agile Working Model experience (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience performing SAP Basis administration tasks
  • 3+ years of experience working with SAP System landscape installations, upgrades, and system copies (homogeneous and heterogeneous)
  • 3+ years of experience with SAP middleware components such as SAP ITS, WAS, and Business Connector
  • 3+ years of experience demonstrating strong communication skill as proven through business applications
  • 3+ years of knowledge of Unix, Linux, and MS Windows O/s technologies
  • 3+ years of experience working within a global/distributed enterprise IT environment
  • 3+ years of knowledge of enterprise operations strategies and protocols
  • 1+ years of knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Basic knowledge of SAP software development methodologies including ABAB programming
  • Basic knowledge of relational database systems such as Oracle and/or SQL Server
  • Available to be on call for emergencies
  • Ability to work in an office setting and/or virtual office environment
  • Ability to work in areas requiring safety equipment and clothing
  • Ability to work in both loud and considerably cool/warm areas due to equipment location (data centers, etc.)


  • Serve as the first point of contact for the SAP DevOps teams
  • Consults on the setup SAP based projects (Basis, Infrastructure, Upgrade)
  • Provide consulting for SAP related tools (ChaRM, TDMS, Monitoring Data-/Document Archiving)
  • Support the BMW Infrastructure guidelines and master solutions
  • Maintain reports of defined KPIs and operational issues
  • Provide clarification of mediation/escalation of operational conflicts/incidents
  • Participate in regional CAB
  • Administer SAP system operation of project systems on request
  • Perform analysis of SAP systems on request
  • Perform various tasks in the SAP User Administration
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
