RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in search of a SAP Basis Administrator in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania (PA). Interviews will be the week of September 10th!

Essential Job Functions:

• Administer and support SAP ECC 6, BW, Solution Manager, Windows and AIX Servers, Oracle Database and supporting systems
• Activities include planning, analysis, troubleshooting, integration, installation, configuration, operations, and maintenance of the SAP systems
• Additional responsibilities include leading periodic maintenance activities, refreshes, patching, and upgrades
• Apply in-depth knowledge of SAP Basis and work on and/or lead complex assignments or projects
• Solve problems of a complex and/or diverse scope
• Work independently and receive minimal guidance on work assignments
• Provide administration and support of the SAP Basis Administration for SAP ERP, SAP NetWeaver, SAP BW-BPC and BCS, SAP Solution Manager
• Provide backup support to the database administrator
• Provide all levels of support for team members
• SAP security operations
• Print management
• System monitoring for superior performance and health
• SAP system copy activities
• Support migration of SAP Transport Management
• Application of SAP enhancement packages and upgrades
• Upgrading SAP kernels
• Setup and monitoring of all system interfaces with SAP
• OS level patch monitoring, security and management
• Support SAP add-ons and upgrade projects
• Review SAP security note releases and guide the team in testing and application
• Apply SAP OSS (Online Service System) notes
• Review and respond to system monitoring alerts and alarms
• Maintain and configure the SAP GUI
• Monitor regularly scheduled server backup jobs
