Job Description
Serve as senior subject matter expert in the design, implementation and support of critical ECC, Portal, BW, CRM, SRM, E-Recruit, Business Objects and other SAP systems. Install, configure, optimize, and support SAP Technology Infrastructure including SAP NetWeaver, HANA, Sybase ASE, and SAP and 3rd party applications and integrations for the enterprise.

What You'll Be Doing:

Serves as an integrator to the functional business teams for technical services provided by the BASIS team, the client infrastructure provider and vendors/other service providers. Architect, design, deliver, and support projects for new and existing SAP solutions. Architect, install, configure, manage and support SAP Netweaver applications and components.

Support day-to-day tickets created by SAP Helpdesk relating to SAP Servers and Software.
Configure and support integration with third party SAP systems and software. Setup of Consistent SAP Backup and Disaster Recovery procedures for SAP servers

Provide team leadership skills, transfer knowledge and provide guidance for SAP operations, configuration, monitoring and tuning to peers and Jr. Basis Team members.

Defines, Develops and Maintains the processes and procedures necessary to operate and monitor the technical environments. Implements and supports enterprise applications in a global environment.

Develops methodologies and practices to manage and plan system capacity based on projected growth rate to ensure system performance remains at acceptable levels.

Develops and tracks activities through project plans. Ensures that projects meet established time and cost parameters while adhering to established practices, procedures and standards.

Ensures that all SAP project goals are accomplished according to specifications and business objectives
What You Need To Bring To The Table:
-
Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
-
7 to 10+ years of experience in newer SAP components like ECC, Netweaver, WebDynpro, HANA, BW, Portals, CRM, SRM, Business Objects, E-recruitment on Oracle, SQL, and/or Sybase ASE. (HANA and Sybase ASE experience preferred)

SAP Basis Expertise and Extensive project experience

Working knowledge of Windows Server, SUSE Linux operating systems, VMWare ESX and backup technologies

Excellent documentation, communication, and organization skills and time management capabilities required
-
Strong analytical and issue resolution skills and knowledge of industry best practices in SAP methodologies
