Job Description Overview

The application upgrade specialist role will drive SAP and the associated database installations. Other activities include landscape maintenance, transport management, performance monitoring, troubleshooting issues. Responsible for BASIS functions and responsibilities related to the release teams several SAP systems types, including ECC, BWoH, PI, Portal, Solution Manager, GRC, and Business Objects. Maintenance of supporting tools, such as control-m, SQL DBs and HP ALM are also necessary.

Mandatory:
SAP BASIS Administration
SAP NetWeaver
Oracle Database
Active clearance required

Responsible to help support installations, upgrades and configuration of multiple SAP systems, databases and associated technologies
Responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting of the Basis component of the SAP system and associated technologies
Environment Migration Support to include moving objects between environments within an SAP landscape
Performance monitoring of the SAP system
Responsible for working with members of different teams to address and resolve any issues or problems
Responsible for driving SAP application installations, patches, refreshes, backups
Responsible for assisting with troubleshooting
Responsible for assisting with transport management
