SAP Application Support
Contract to Hire
An Oil and Gas company located in the Houston area is seeking a SAP Application Support person to add to their team.
In this position you will be responsible for the following areas:
Review
- Record issue raised by User
- Analyse the issue to determine if L1 or L2 support required
Resolution L1
- Check for standard solution / knowledge based
- Notify the resolution steps to requestor
- Update status when resolved
- Escalate to L2 for non-standard solution
- Coordinate with AMS for incident closing
Monitoring
- Check for Severity 1 and 2
- Escalate if status remain assigned
- Monitor aging tickets
- Escalation when there is backlog
- Knowledge on SAP ECC6 or S4Hana
- Extensive business processes and functional knowledge (Logistic/FICO/PS)
- Knowledge in cross functional integrations
- Ability to define and execute test scenarios
- Proven expertise in gathering and documenting enhancement requests (Optional)
- Ability to do debug/troubleshoot ABAP codes (Optional)
- Familiar with SAP Tables
- Ability to conduct training to the end users
- Proven expertise in Application Support
- Familiar with end-to-end support process, SLA, Ticketing systems and monthly reporting
