Description
The SAP APO GATP position is responsible for delivery of global SAP solutions.
Understand APO GATP requirements and provide the technology to support these processes.
Develop detailed functional and technical specifications for changes to the SAP APO and ECC systems.
Responsible for implementation of SAP Advanced Planning Optimizer, Global Available to Promise (APO-GATP). Perform configuration for the GATP module including integrated components within APO and any integration with ECC
Perform unit testing of changes (configuration, custom development, etc.) in development and staging environments, including regression testing of functionality that may be impacted by change.
Coordinate long chain testing where appropriate of changes (configuration, custom development, etc.) in development and staging environments.
Provide input and suggestions based on knowledge of area of responsibility.
Provide prototypes of new functionality based on client needs.
Provide ad hoc training and knowledge to business super users as required in run and maintain activities, such as remedial training, issue resolution, etc.
KEY COMPENTENCIES:
Back Order Processing, BOPIN, Basic & Advanced ATP Check, Rule Based Availability Check, Multi-Level ATP, Product Allocation, Scheduling, Core Interface, CIF User Exits, Dynamic/Fixed Pegging, TQA, forecast consumption, Configurations involving scope of check, check instructions, rules, allocation procedures, scheduling, ATP, etc.
Must have proficiency in BOP enhancements involving standard and custom filters and sorts, experience of commonly used GATP BAPIs / BADIs and technical tables, CCR, SDRQCR21 report,
Requires strong understanding / experience of order management, demand planning experience and knowledge of APO DP Planning Books, APO BW, Process Chains, etc.
Strong knowledge and experience with SAP APO 7.0 and ECC 6.0.
Ability to relate technical ideas and functionality to non-technical user.
Strong organizational, oral/written communication, interpersonal and agency/client relationship skills.
