Join the Mizuho team as a SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Analyst!
We are seeking a SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Analyst that will be part of Finance IT team developing and configuring the FP&A module in SAP S4 HANA. This role has significant interaction with the Corporate Controller and FP&A teams, as well as business unit finance teams. The role serves as a subject matter expert and leads the administration and management of the SAP Consolidation Platform and processes. The role applies a mix of analytical, functional, design and technical skills to develop and implement innovative solutions that drive continuous process improvement. The role also provides support to strategic projects and other business systems.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience in architecting, building and supporting the implementation SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).Serve as the SAP consolidation platform subject matter expert for critical financial activities including monitoring and evaluating corporate and business unit financial submissions, guiding business unit finance teams on technical/process topics, identifying and investigating data errors and discrepancies, performing data validations and corrections to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, and providing the most effective and efficient process and tools for data loading during corporate month end close.
- Lead design and blueprinting sessions and act as a solution architect for SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) implementations. Make a significant contribution to delivery of a "best in class" finance FP&A function to support the rapid growth of the organization.
- Manage finance IT FPA team members to deliver the FP&A requirements against the regular Forecasting cycle and monthly/quarterly reporting
- Be the Finance IT lead for all FP&A related matters, linking across finance and the business to support the requirements of the global FP&A team
- Partnering across the business deepen commercial understanding of key Mizuho projects to support the drive of increasing understanding of Mizuho Americas forecasts
- Champion and enhance analytics toolkits to support the regional management teams in improving their access to business analytics. Reporting and planning knowledge of SAP SAC Planning is required.
- Partner with Finance teams to capture SAC planning model requirements. Alongside FP&A team help deliver systemization and automation of FP&A reporting.
- Collaborate with FP&A partner on utilizing SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) to meet planning requirements
The following finance concepts are required:
- Operational budgeting and forecasting
- P&L (in scope)
- Overhead (SG&A)
- Gross Margin (Revenue and Direct Cost) by line of business/business unit
- CAP Ex
- Cash Flow
- Headcount/Comp
Minimum Qualifications:
-8+ years of experience leading and delivering full life cycle implementations in SAP BPC and SAC
-Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or Computer Science preferred
-SAP S/4 HANA Experience is highly desired
-Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across the different levels in the organization
-Banking and Finance Industry experience is highly desired
The expected base salary ranges from $104k-$170k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
