Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)

• Develop and implement ABAP programming across different areas of SAP.
• Should be able to work on requirement gathering, gap analysis, and Technical spec preparation. Should have sound knowledge and experience in SCM, OTC, and FICO area and basic functional knowledge in respective modules. Ability to lead discussions, present ideas to audiences of all sizes, and interact with client management and users from multiple countries.
• Good in analytical experience and understanding internal IT processes. Knowledge on latest SAP application solution capabilities would be helpful in engaging with the customers on possible new areas of work.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment under tight deadlines and able to prioritize work to meet the project deadlines.
• Should be very strong in communication, presentation, and consulting skills. Working in a global demanding environment in a vibrant client experience is a plus.
• Provide code reviews of team's work and shepherd code through client governance processes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 12 years of SAP development experience in ABAP custom programming across different areas (i.e. FMs, Interfaces, data migration, forms, screen painter, BADI and User-Exits etc.)
• Minimum 5 years of development lead experience in medium to large sized customer projects.
• At least 4 years of experience in Application architecture / development in SAP HANA, ABAP Programming, SAP UI5 , Suite on HANA Migrations , various Tools for development team, Core Data Services, ABAP Managed Database Procedures, Development aspects of Fiori implementations , SAP NetWeaver Gateway, Virtual Data Model.
• (SAP Technical lead experience in 2-3 S4/HANA Projects) CDS View Develop and implement ABAP programming across different areas of SAP.
• Should be able to work on requirement gathering, gap analysis, and Technical spec preparation.
• Should have sound knowledge and experience in SCM, OTC, MII, EWM and FICO area and basic functional knowledge in respective modules.
• Ability to lead discussions, present ideas to audiences of all sizes, and interact with client management and users from multiple countries.
• Good in analytical experience and understanding internal IT processes.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment under tight deadlines and able to prioritize work to meet the project deadlines.
• Should be very strong in communication, presentation, and consulting skills. Working in a global environment and a chemical industry client experience is a plus.
• Candidate should have hands-on experience in leading development teams comprising of SAP ABAP, EDI, Workflow, SAP Middleware (PI/PO) resources

Nice to Have; (But not a must) Implementation of S4/HANA 1611, 1709 a big plus Fiori experience is a big plus
