The developer is required to deliver innovative, high quality solutions to customers. The SAP ABAP Developer should have strong application development and systems integration experience. This person will be capable of performing code reviews with peers and be able to recognize good programming techniques and correct coding problems. This position will work as part of a SAP Development team on an aerospace and defense client multi-year project. + Partner with functional teams to review functional specifications and produce technical design specifications + Provide level of effort estimates based on functional specifications or business requirements + Design, code, unit test, debug and implement SAP ABAP applications while working closely with functional teams + Resolve open development issues and make decisions about alternate technical approaches + Proactively provide work status + Follow development standards and methodology + Ensure that documentation is properly maintained + Support the change control process + Conduct code reviews with peers + Support application upgrades + Work defects + Develop test plans for new or modified programs.
