OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION: Our client, located in the Vernon Hills area, is looking for an SAP ABAP Developer for their growing IT team. This is an in-office position and is not remote. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the dictionary structure in SAP
• Use custom code to carry out security measure
• Document development work per standards/requirements
• Debug system issues and resolve
• Provide guidance to developers

SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree with SAP ABAP certification preferred
• 2+ years of ABAP development experience
• Experience with procedural and object oriented styles in ABAP development
• SAP output creation/maintenance using Adobe Forms, SmartForms and SAPScript
• HTML development and Java scripting experience
• OS level scripting in Windows architecture
• Knowledgeable with SAP Idocs
• EDI experience a plus
