The Product Analyst, SAP Operations will play a role in the governance and reporting of NBCU operations for SAP and other integrated systems. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in documenting and optimizing IT operational processes, as well as Risk & Compliance governance pertaining to SAP Change, Release and Transport Management. Additionally, the candidate should be well-versed in standard IT governance models and have hands-on experience in implementing and managing these processes using tools such as ServiceNow, Jira and related third-party software. The role requires exceptional stakeholder and change management skills to ensure the successful adoption of new processes and tools across the organization. Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Document and improve IT operational processes with a focus on clarity, efficiency, and compliance

  • Drive adoption and adherence to existing and new processes.

  • Design and maintain process swim lanes to visualize and streamline operational workflows.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation

  • Assist with Change Management reporting, analytics and deployment processes

  • Monitor effectiveness of IT operational processes, gather feedback and drive continuous improvement efforts.

  • Good team player who can collaborate with various IT teams to bridge any gaps from requirement understanding, identifying risks and recommend mitigation strategies

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to IT operations and governance

  • Build / Enhance Operational Reporting & Analytics to support Monthly Operating Reviews

  • Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting or Business from an accredited institution or equivalent

  • 5+ years of hands on experience in IT operations and governance, including documented process improvement initiatives

  • Basic Knowledge of SAP transport management

  • Proficiency in ITIL or other relevant IT service management frameworks

  • Basic knowledge of BW and SAP Security

  • Basic knowledge of IT General Control framework

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio).

  • Demonstrate excellent verbal/presentation and written communication skills

  • Possess interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of Business and IT

  • Self-starter to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously with a keen desire to learn and expand depth of knowledge

  • Exhibit collaboration and teamwork skills

  • Adherence to IT/SAP methodologies, and change control processes

  • Willingness to work off business hours and weekends as needed in a demanding environment

  • Strong / effective influencing skills

Additional Requirements

This position has been designated as commutable remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from the designated office location on an as needed/as directed basis. When not contributing onsite, the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly the employee's residence.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
