Job description:

The SAP BTP Architect is responsible for owning the design, implementation and ongoing management of sophisticated SAP solutions based on the SAP Business Technology Platform's Integration Suite (aka CPI). They work closely with partners across the organization to understand business requirements, develop solutions architecture, and supervise the implementation of new systems and technologies.

Delivery Architects assess a project’s technical feasibility, as well as implementation risks. They are responsible for designing and implementing a project’s technical architecture. They define the structure of a system, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation. The scope of the Delivery Architect’s role is bounded by the business issue at hand. A Delivery Architect needs to have knowledge of all the different aspects of the technical Delivery as well as robust business knowledge. This includes the Software Architect.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop SAP BTP Architecture: Design and implement SAP solutions architecture based on the SAP BTP, taking into account the organization's goals and objectives, current technology landscape, and budget constraints.
Solution Design: Develop and document solution designs, including technical specifications, implementation plans, and system configurations.
Technical Oversight: Supervise the implementation of new SAP solutions, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the organization's needs.
Stakeholder Management: Engage with partners across the organization to understand business requirements, communicate technical solutions, and build consensus around key decisions.
Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP BTP technologies and trends, and provide technical mentorship and support to other teams within the organization.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with the implementation of new SAP solutions, and develop contingency plans as needed.
Documentation: Create user documentation, including solution design documents, operational manuals, and system configuration guides.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Consistent track record in SAP implementation and architecture, with proven track record with SAP Business Technology Platform.
Deep technical knowledge of SAP BTP technologies, including Cloud Foundry, SAP HANA, SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and SAP Integration Suite.
Experience in leading sophisticated SAP implementation projects, with proven experience in design, configuration, and implementation.
Superb communication, interpersonal, and partner leadership skills.
Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
Relevant SAP certifications are desirable.

The base salary range for the tagged location is $116,100 - $250,640 This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission.
