Description:
The goal is to support the GovernanceTeam in technical improvements and compliance.

• Make correct technology choices for components needed as part of a larger architecture, including making build vs buy choices for specific components, and choosing frameworks
• Contribute to the technical strategy for the team to broader initiatives across all SAP Signavio teams  developers
• Provide support and consult as needed to other developers within the development  team encouraging good practice agile development techniques
• Gain a good understanding of each user story and the expected outcome, asking for  further detail from the Product Owner as required
• Influence and make product decisions/scope and determine the right technical tradeoffs to deliver customer value quickly
• Proactively identify new opportunities and advocate for and implement improvements to the current state of products
• Make informed decisions by consulting the right stakeholders and balancing details with the big picture
• Able to create coherent designs with multiple components interacting across API or system boundaries; bugs do not creep in at the boundaries between components due to mismatches in expectations of what is technically feasible

• Contribute towards ownership of the team’s delivery and provide regular updates on progress against commitment, and any impediments blocking development
• Work collaboratively with the Product Owner and Tech Lead to reach agreement on  the technical commitments and actively participate in the definition of what the product do (KPIs, understanding value chain)
• Embrace and share the learnings from project failures
• Work existing applications as well as the inception of new microservices
• Collaborate and work on solving challenging technical and business problems
• Follow Agile principles and values

Requirements:
• Passionate about crafting clean and well tested code
• Experience working in cross-functional teams relying on Agile methodologies
• Enjoy pair programming or are keen on trying it out

• In-depth knowledge of Object-oriented programming in general and a language such as Java
• It would be a bonus if you have experience with other programming paradigms such as functional programming or reactive programming
• Demonstrated experience on safely and efficiently refactor larger pieces of code
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases is a plus. It would be even better if you have experience in MongoDB
• Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and related cloud technologies is a plus
• Strong team player & communicator
