What's the role?

We are looking for an experienced "IT Software Engineer - SAP Integration" to join our global Central Technology team which is responsible for enabling integrations, content management and digital services across all business functions at Hilti. You will have the opportunity to design, implement and maintain SAP Application to application(A2A) and Electronic Business to Business (eB2B) Integrations enabling 3rd party connectivity with our internal SAP enterprise systems utilizing our SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Platform (SCPI) and SAP Gateway Integration systems.

What does the role involve?

As an experienced "IT Software Engineer - SAP Integration", you identify and analyze business requirements and transform these into Integration solutions based on customer needs and strategic requirements. You will be part of the team which is responsible to perform the administration, development, and operation of our SAP Integrations solutions namely SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Integration (SCPI) and SAP Gateway.

This role would also give you the opportunity to be part of our future strategy to have fully integrated cloud Integration delivery utilizing SAP BTP's Integration suite and to put your own signature on how we do our enterprise integrations in the future.

You will be part of a team that provides the underlying technology platforms for our IT business verticals, enabling communication among the applications and business functions for Hilti.

Outside the day-to-day tasks, you will be involved in multiple cross functional projects that would require Integration expertise and support which would provide you the platform to connect with a huge audience of IT and business stakeholders.

What you need is:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or in a related field with Cumulative Grade point Average > 3.0. Master's degree. is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years solid experience in conceptualizing, developing, and maintaining SAP Integrations in SAP Process Orchestration (PO) 7.X
• Extensive Process integration (PI) monitoring and architecture knowledge
• Experience with Java Development, Java Maps and one or more of either XSLT, XML, WSDL and XSD.
• Solid Knowledge of Web Services with configuring of Adapters like IDOC, RFC, FILE, AS2, SOAP, REST, HTTP, FTP, email
• Knowledge of EDI standards such as X12 and EDIFACT.
• Experience in Integration related security such as certificate handling and authentication via certificate based or OAUTH2.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SCPI) / SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• End to end Integration capability including requirement analysis, conceptualization, design, configuration and testing of integration scenarios
• Excellent interpersonal skills and well balanced, adaptive communication style; ability to explain complex topics in simple terms
• Fluent in English (verbally and written)
• Passion for SAP Integration with the ability to conceptualize, build and run SAP Integration solutions.
• You are detail oriented, able to work independently, team player with a can-do attitude.
• The ability to effectively articulate and present complex concepts and ideas to senior IT management, functional and business teams.
