RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in search of an IT SAP Security Analyst in Houston, Texas (TX).

Summary:
This position will work within the Information Security team recommending and developing security best practices for securing SAP systems, system access controls, user entitlements and contribute to projects requiring expertise in systems within the SAP landscape.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate existing systems and identify improvements related to security configurations and access controls
• Develop and manage transition plans to implement recommended improvements
• Create and update system documentation, polices, standards and processes
• Utilize the service portal to manage and create service requests, change requests, etc.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the Identity and Access Management team managing provisioning and deprovisioning activities
• Identify, evaluate and recommend technologies using best practices/industry standards
• Identify innovative ways to utilize existing applications and technologies
• Forecast and coordinate management of change for scheduled maintenance weekends
• Develop, implement SAP Security best practices
• Participate in yearly SAP License review and user management
• Effectively communicate with end users and peers around the world
• International and Domestic travel may be required
