Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain trusted relationship with at VP of Manufacturing/EHS/Technical & Innovation and their direct reports.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Manufacturing/EHS/Technical & Innovation organization to develop a value-based IT roadmap.
- Manage a global IT team that provides all IT related services, including delivery of value added IT roadmap to meet Manufacturing/EHS/Technical & Innovation internal customer needs.
- Provide Business Solution Services (e.g. application support).
- Understand customer pain points and collaborate to propose potential process changes/new solutions (include solutions in the AOP).
- Pro-actively bring solutions to improve productivity – work collaboratively to develop the business case.
- Pro-actively communicate key initiatives and listen to customer feedback- Improve IT services and manage impacts to business.
- Be accountable in front of the customer for delivery of all IT services.
- Serve as first point of escalation for all IT related customer issues.
- Manage IT related business risks (security, application roadmap, etc.)
Qualifications
- Extensive experience manufacturing work processes (production planning/scheduling, plant maintenance, EHS, quality management, etc.)
- Extensive experience in developing IT strategy/roadmap for a manufacturing organization.
- Extensive experience in deploying SAP Mii, SAP QM, SAP PP, SAP PM.
- Manufacturing work process IT implementation (engineering solutions, shop floor system, incident management, historian, etc.) and integration with plant control systems (DCS).
- Ability to drive and lead process change.
- Passion and credibility to engage with VP level executives.
- Lead and inspire a global IT team and develop the next generation of MFG IT Leader.
- Experience in assessing and improving the security of computing assets to meet information security requirements and objectives.
- Potential to grow in the leadership position of directing a major function in IT.
- Able to influence with and without formal authority.
- Has skills & ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Possess courage, energy & the drive to develop business case and complete projects and/or deliver solutions.
- Has experience IT Service Levels improvements (service quality and costs).
- Has SAP Mii Strategy and Execution experience.
- Able to collaborate with both business and IT leadership to develop annual operating plan.
- Experience with enterprise risk management.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills and is a good team player.
- Experience building or working within ITILv3 or CMMI level 3+ organizations is desirable.
- SAP S/4 Implementation Experience is highly desirable.
Required Years of Experience
- 15+ Years
Required Education
- Bachelor Degree in Operations or Engineering (Process or Chemicals Engineering) with demonstrated experience in Information Technology deployment in manufacturing space.
- Alternatively, Bachelor Degree in Information Technology with demonstrated experience in manufacturing/EHS.
- Certification in Operations highly desired.
