Functional Specialist, End User Support (SAP FI/CO)

We are an international manufacturing firm with a United States presence in the Pittsburgh area. We are implementing SAP H4/HANA to our factories nationwide. As we start rolling out implementation, we are in need of a strong SAP FI/CO functional specialist to join our team to help support end users as we roll out this ERP system that will be new to many of our factories. This role is a real "hands on" role So, if you are a SAP pro with strong PP/ QM/PM experience and are looking to join an exciting growing international company, this is the one. If you live or want to move to Pittsburgh that would be ideal. But, if you can't this role can also be done remotely.

What You Will Be Doing

This role is responsible for the functional support of S/4Hana business application. The major purpose of the role is to serve locations running S/4 as their ERP platform by:
- Issue resolution on incidents and problems for the live units in Hana specifically FI/CO for this role
- Service and change requests management
- Ensures stable business process continuation and improvements
- Dedicated and high focused business support during period end closing
- Provides appropriate solutions upon Business Area requirements
- Design, configure, test and train business solutions in collaboration with solution team
- Participate in hyper care and take over location support from project team
- Provides application maintenance, 2nd and 3rd level production support services toward the supported live locations (customers) globally, according to the SLA's agreed
- Proactive system improvement proposals and initiatives
- Preventive business process support
- Works closely with business support departments to translate business requirements into feasible solutions
- Close working relationship with technical, solution delivery, basis and authorization teams all involved in the different business support processes
- Understand and work according to the transport and release management process
- Comes up continuously with business and process related improvement ideas
- Provide and maintain process documentations like problem, incident and change management
- Work according to the best practices for support
- Perform daily tasks in the global ticketing system

What You Need for this Position

- 3-5 years of experience in a comparable role within IT or Business
- Strong understanding of S/4 HANA particularly the PP/ QM/PM modules
- Functional or technical related work experience with same/similar Business Applications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- IT /Business Degree or Equivalent
- Prince II Foundation is preferred
- Solid understanding of the business processes related to the business application(s) concerned
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
