Description
Support Mission Engineering (ME) for establishing and maintaining Systems Applications and Products (SAP) structured identification of Technical Objects (Functional Locations (FLOC) and Equipment) in coordination with both project and plant requirements. Apply strategic methods to standardize and maintain plant asset(s) master data applying Asset Life Cycle Management principles. Perform assigned functional lead duties to include application testing, development, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP systems and applications.
Focus on development of the SAP Technical Objects structure for the turnover of projects to plant operations as well as supporting a team for developing functional location management in SAP HANA and moving Equipment Management (EM) application from legacy SAP ECC and/or SAP PRD into SAP HANA. The future state will be a complete implementation of an integrated process (including software tools) to manage technical objects at both Pantex and Y-12.
The specific roles and responsibilities relate to support for the development of processes to build out FLOC structures based on system, component, noun-name, etc.; connections (interfaces) to other functional locations; connections to documents; and grouping. The intent is to determine how to manage data fields at the functional location level versus how to manage at the equipment level in support of the CNS Mission Engineering configuration management (CM) program.

Minimum Job Requirements
Bachelors degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience OR a Masters degree with a minimum of 2 year of relevant experience.
+ Typical experience ranges from 6 to 10 years.
Ten or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of- experience requirements for this posting.
Preferred Job Requirements
+ Two years (minimum) of relevant SAP, database management, data analysis, and report generation experience
+ Strong interpersonal skills
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills
+ Understanding of and experience with SAP Plant Maintenance/Quality Management (PM/QM) Modules and use of Technical Objects (FLOCS and Equipment) for Structures, Systems, and Components (SSCs)
+ Experience with object linking
+ Knowledge of the CNS CM program, procedures, and practices (e.g. Use of SSEL, MEL, Grading Work Sheet, Change Package, etc)

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply.
